Non Partisan Socially Responsible Policy Advocacy

NASRO is an advocate for self employed people, non-profit organizations and small businesses . For 15 years we have established a record of building and supporting alternative economic organizations. NASRO has adapted new strategies of fighting for a democratic global economy that bring complex issues to the grassroots. Every socially responsible standard that we and our ancestors have worked to build for hundreds of years is now threatened, not by immigrants or people from developing countries, but by certain global corporations who have no loyalty to any country.

NASRO has built a network of highly skilled people and organizations that are developing an alternative business structure to better provide for our members health care and health insurance needs and a growing grassroots policy advocacy group to help elect progressive candidates as state representatives, state senators, mayors and city council members and local school board members. NASRO is also an active supporter of the World Social Forum and international environmental organizations where we can represent our members economic interests and join with other like minded organizations to carry on the fight against global warming.
